Gojira—L'Enfant Sauvage
I've been checking out a few things lately that are on my list of "stuff a lot of MB people seemed to like a lot which I never got around to". This is one of those albums and one of those bands. It's my first exposure to these guys, and even though I'm only three songs in, I think I'm already won over. This is fucking fantastic. Powerful, precise, violent, almost beautiful and... I don't know... heartfelt. It seem a weird way to describe it but it's true. It's like everything I like about Meshuggah, High on Fire and Pelican all rolled into one. Loving it.
