Interesting topic here.
I remember being in high school and hearing all the rage behind No limit Records. Which, they found popularity initially, before Cash Money. There were so many damn albums and dime-a-dozen rappers on No limit, that was probably the main weakness. At the core, they had Master P and his brothers, Mystical, and so on. I heard several albums, and there were simply too many tracks. Some ran into the 20's. Just filler. I was liked their interesting album art though. Which Cash Money rode that wave into their album art.
Cash Money had more of a centralized core, Juve, Wanye, B.G....the Hot Boys. And look at these guys now, for the most part...they are still dropping albums...

Where the hell are the No Limit Soldiers...? Retired, mostly.
