Hello, my name is Aki (well, not really) and I'm 14 years old. I play guitar, marching snare and different types of keyboard instruments.
Guitar - intermediate
Snare - beginner
Keyboard - intermediate/advanced
I like music across a few different genres, but generally stick with "rock/metal" without rap. I do not like teenpop/techno/stuff like that. I also don't like screamo. By that, I mean where they're screaming for the whole song, doing it for sections is OK.
My favorite band is Rise Against.
Also, I want to be in a band, but everyone in my school who wants to be in a band is already in one. I tried. I put up flyers about coming to a certain room on a certain day after school if anyone wanted to be in a band.
I also made sure getting home wouldn't be a problem for non-drivers, because the after-school activity bus would be there that day...
I'm going to try again when the next school year starts
