There was a video game called The Last Story and I joined a group centered around it. I developed a crush on a woman who was part of the group. She would flirt with me all the time and others took notice of it as well, but she never actually made any moves. So I built up the courage to tell her that I had a crush on her. She didn't beat around the bush, she told me flat out the feeling wasn't mutual. We stayed friends for awhile but later became enemies.
