Social Distortion:

Probably one of the most highly regarded American punk rock bands, and one of the few 80's originals that successfully rode the alternative wave of the 90's without selling out. Often described as the Sex Pistols meets the Rolling Stones, R.I.P. Dennis Danell.

Since some of the members of the Adolescents were originally members of Social Distortion (as marginal as it may be) I thought I would throw them in here.

I'm not quite sure as to why I never got into this band, as upon review, I do like the bands little guitar solo melodies, but ultimately I think it comes down to two things for me. I'm not big on the vocals, and I think they could have ramped up the speed for the style they were playing.
