Honesty couldn't even get me a minimum wage job. Dressing nice, and spouting my love for assisting customers, learning new things everyday, being a team player...that got me hired on the spot. And I make a fair bit over minimum wage with benefits, just from lying through my teeth and acting like I was a go-getter.

My first job interview was at Dairy Queen. At the end of the interview the manager asked me why I wanted to work there. It never occurred to me that they might ask me this. I mean aren't
you here because your life isn't going the way you want it to as well? So I just said the only thing I could think of, "Uh...I like ice cream?"
