My mum and dad are threatening divorce n it has come up a few times recently, I don't know if they're just saying this or if it'll actually happen. First of all, I'm really sorry to hear that and yes it can be quite terrible being amidst of a messy maybe-maybe not divorce. I hope they're not putting you in the middle of it at least.
Second this was pretty much the case with parents through my entire family childhood, and until now. It's actually the reason why it's very hard to keep contact because they still won't shut up about it, and all they do is **** on the bad messenger. So I refuse to get involved in their lives.
