I'm a lot more scared of it now than I was ten years ago. Reason being, I now have to think not only of myself but of my sis (yes, that again!) --- if I die, there is no-one who will take on the responsibility/burden of looking after her, so I worry constantly what would happen if one of life's pairs of dice comes up snake eyes for me? I mean, it could be anything: hit by a bus, random attack in the street by some crazy guy, heart attack, SADS, getting mauled to death by wild dogs when crossing the outback (okay, not that one) --- just too many things that could happen.

I hope that I live to a reasonable age and that, to be fair, she goes before I do, because the pressure of living for another person often comes close to cracking me. I mean, suppose I saw some kid cross the street and a truck bearing down on them? Most of us would probably try to save the child, heedless of our own safety. Me, I'd have to think of my sister and that makes me both selfish and pragmatic at the same time. I'll never be a hero.

So yeah, I fear dying, but more due to what I'd be leaving behind than what I'd be going to, and more for her than for me.

Thanks, Fluff: I'm all on edge now!
Again.
