Initially Dorner had issues with the LAPD where he felt wrong by the department, but Dorner's final goal became
“unconventional and asymmetric warfare” against the LAPD officiers and family members. His inital goal was to get his job back, but when that didn't happen, it was replace by his final goal which was vengeful killing of innocent people. I don't see how killing innocent people is respectable or justifiable.
