Aside from the countless famous jams they have, I sometimes stumble onto some amazing stuff that is never recognized as much as it should be.
What made me create this thread in particular? "Sweet Virginia" off of Exile on Main St., which I picked up after a brief visit to one of New England's world famous burger slop-houses. Some drunks harassed me into playing the song, and I don't know how you can't love this song. It just sounds like hanging out having a good time. Sloppy, Bluessy and groove-filled, its the stones at their best, and its easy to see the human side of these guys. No introspection, so virtuosity, just a jam that will not quit.

Personally I believe the Rolling Stones to be the second most recognized band behind the Beatles. I mean it's all image. The Beatles were promoted as a cute well behaved band and the Stones were presented as the band you should not let your Daughters listen to. In the end though both bands are the most talked about most written about bands of all time.
