Though I'm also a Villa fan, I wouldn't recommend following them ET unless you're cool with heartburn, ulcers and heart palpitations! There are far better teams to follow in the Prem, two to watch imo would be Swansea and Norwich, very easy on the eye and both just recently promoted from the lower divisions, making a name for themselves.

There are always the big four: Man United, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea. Add to that I guess Tottenham Hotspur and Everton for teams that are really doing well this season, and there's a lot to choose from. It really depends on what you want. Man U are more than likely to win the league this year, but lots of people hate them because they're ALWAYS winning and come across as arrogant (cue caustic reply from Right-Track!); Man City won last year but are showing signs of slowing down and it seems an impossible task that they might rally and overtake Man U: the gap, as Mostly Autumn once said, is too wide.

Liverpool play some great football but have tended to underachieve in the last few seasons, Chelsea have a new manager the fans hate but are playing very well, and Spurs and Everton are a joy to watch. So as I say it depends on what you want.

Villa are sliding down into relegation and missing every opportunity to get out of trouble, but I guess if you want a challenge they might suit you. Expect frustration and bitten nails if you start supporting them, though. Plus even at their best they never do much better than mid-table.

I love 'em but I wouldn't advise or encourage anyone to follow what is, really, at this point, close to a lost cause.

Anyway, you need any further info or advice let us know.
