I agree. That rings true of most of Grammy popular music nominations. But for some reason ...I guess its just the law of averages...they do hit on the best in popular music that didn't even have time to sell big being they came out late in the year or albums that didn't even have one big selling single or radio hit like Bob Dylan's 'Time Out Of Mind'. I did feel sorry for Radiohead losing out to him. ...NOT!!!

And I didn't even know who Arcade Fire was when they won. And was blown away when 'Brother Where Art tho' soundtrack won. Those are the cool unexpected moments I like to see at the Grammys. This year won't have any of those for me.
