Hmm, I've only read Lord of the Rings once, before the first movie came out, and only in Norwegian. It was enjoyable, but I feel I should read it in English too. Some day, some day.

Forge of Darkness. Obviously he wasn't finished with the Malazan world after ten ginormous books, and in this first part of a prequel trilogy, he's once again showing why he's one of the most popular fantasy authors out there. His way of describing people and their feelings, and the overall complexity of plot and setting, is just staggering. <3
