I'm like 99% sure I broke my toe the other day and I would just like to bitch for a moment about how much it sucks. It's just a little toe, but putting any weight on it causes extreme stabbing pain, so I've been limping around for several days. The limping itself is causing problems, since my body isn't used to walking that way, and I now have sore, exhausted muscles in my legs that make walking even more of a challenge. Yesterday I went out to lunch and a movie with a friend of mine and discovered yet another crappy thing: wearing shoes for a couple of consecutive hours really, really, really irritates my toe to the point where I'm still feeling it a day later.
