The refrain shouldn't be that hard to come up with. Repetition and simplicity are generally key in writing good refrains - which is pretty unexciting from the writer and performer's viewpoints but will result in the song sounding better. If you come up with some unique hook lyrics, melodic intervals and rhythmic motifs then you'll be part way there.

The best approach is probably to get a few basic ideas together and them play them each to a few friends. The refrain tune which has your audience jumping off their seats is the one that you want to use!
