The Cure made seven great albums in the time that The Smiths made any.
And they went on to release Disintegration after The Smiths disbanded. I forgive their later poor decisions.
Regardless, I like The Cure's sound more in general. And I love The Smiths. People like me are making them win this. Surprise.
