I think you need to Google the definition of paradox.

I'm enjoying a couple albums immensely.

Soulwax - Nite Versions

Electro for people that hate electro. It's basically one big set full of cool samples, pounding synths and breaks, and a real alt-rock feel throughout. Probably the best thing with the label "house" attached to it I've ever heard. it just makes me want to ****ing dance. Recommended for anyone that likes Daft Punk, which is another way of saying recommended for everyone.

Check out "Compute" if you're interested, it's my highlight from the album and it features a cool 8-bit-ish section 'round the latter half of the song that seamlessly merges with the vocals and beats from the first half.

Ufomammut - Snailking

Immense, twisted stoner/doom from Italy. Miles better than their later release, "Idolum", in my opinion. The song "God" is a crushing epic that would turn the Melvins green with envy.

And So I Watch You From Afar - S/T

I think I've already posted this album here, but it's so effing good so I'm posting it again. Instrumental math/post rock that sounds almost sludgy at times with a riff a minute. Greatly looking forward to their new release in March. Highlights: Set Guitars to Kill, A Little Bit of Solidarity, If It Ain't Broke...

oh, and... ASIWYFA just reconfirming the notion that you can't be a post rock band without a stupidly obnoxious name
