Before I start, I paraphrase George Carlin: "I don't have pet peeves; I have major psychotic f*****g hatreds".
I hate it when I listen to someone talk about a certain album/artist I love, and for a moment I am surprised and impressed, only to find out they like it for the wrong reasons. Don't tell me you like Frank Zappa because he's great to listen to when you're "high".
This is more of a peeve than a hatred, but I don't understand people who restrict themselves to the most popular forms of music (One Direction, Taylor Swift). It's not that I dislike these artists (in fact I quite like Taylor Swift), it's just that the restriction... the limiting of musical range is annoying because its just so... boring. How can someone live with a homogeneous music taste?
Anybody who hates electronic, hip hop or country music (the key three music biases) without actually listening to much or any. I used to be like this. I didn't realize how much of a d**k I was.
Have also found myself agreeing with the majority of the comments made here. Surprised how many peeves I have.
