I don't know if I buy that. I don't have any links to studies, but I remember reading at least one that showed people gravitating to specific...uh...gender roles(?) at very early ages (little boys picking up GI Joes and little girls picking up Barbie dolls kinda stuff) that seemed to at least make it possible that it isn't just a social construct. Social pressures certainly matter, but I don't know that you can definitively say that it doesn't have a genetic component.
