There aren't a whole lot in popular consciousness of course, but ever since all these female MC's started coming up after Minaj (who I really am not fond of) I kind of felt like the inflation discredited any new lady rappers that were coming up.
I don't consciously think "female rappers are just the worst" and I won't turn off the radio on a female rapper, but recently it seems like a trend, like swag or what have you.

Salt and Peppa was always alot of fun. I enjoyed Butterfly from Digable Planets also, she has some great rhymes.
