Your short poem is deceptively simple. Phrased as a question, it encourages the reader to answer herself, which I like.
It reminded me of how, when I was younger, I thought luck would favor me in life and my wishes would come true...I'd "win"...if I did the right things, made the right choices. Later I realized life isn't about winning. There is no winning, in the sense that you can never really get the prize even if you gain it, because you can never keep it.
Your short poem also made me think about how in roulette more than one person usually places bets, and some will win and some will lose, unless they bet on the same numbers or color. However, some people refuse to play a game in which others lose. And some people, if they do play, won't play by the rules. For example, even if they *do* win something, they might share or even give all their winnings away.
So, I feel the answer to your poem's question about life is, "No. Not everyone is a player."
