not very. But we must appreciate that those acts are designed for the mainstream.
For people who buy into fake gangster Rick Ross and actor with a record label trying to play the part, Drake.
These people are not looking for thought provoking lyricism, carefully constructed beats.
Substance, flow or even musical talent.
They like the hype, the idea of the aforementioned artists.
Most Rick Ross/Drake fans are younger teens trying to connect with the larger in life personas and getting swept up in the waves of euphoria surrounding them as 'artists'

If Kendrick wishes to take that path, power to him. I support him.
As average as he was, Lupe Fiasco once spoke about dumbing down his product to appeal to the larger demographic.
That is the process that Kendrick is in. That is why GKMC is not Section 8.1
If he chooses this path, there won't be a Section 8.1

However, as a hip-hop release aimed at the mainstream, it's still really good.
