You’re reading the constitution wrong; it does not, and was not intended to, enumerate what one cannot do. Rather it enumerates individual & state rights. Hence, if you’re looking for constitutional protection of abortion, you’d have to find some sort of language to that effect in the constitution…. Hence why prior to Roe v. Wade it was decided on a state by state basis, :p
Edit: let’s put it in perspective. Does the constitution say you can’t rape? Does it say you can’t steal cable TV? No, but that doesn’t automatically make these things legal.
