Since I have had three usernames:
Paloma: My first username. It's Spanish for "dove", which was my boyfriend at the time's nickname for me.
Plum: I was tired of being reminded of my ******* ex, so I changed it to "Plum" because that's what +81 nicknamed me.
Hermione: About a year ago I joined a Harry Potter livejournal community, and we had tinychats all the time and since I was the bossy know-it-all, I got nicknamed Hermione/always had my name as Hermione. I like it better than Paloma, so I changed it.
