I hope not. Asa Butterfield will star as Ender. He was the kid from Hugo and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. It also will have an all-star cast including Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Abigail Breslin and more. It's going to be directed by Gavin Hood who did X-Men Origins" Wolverine.
One thing I wonder how they will deal with it is the fact a large portion of the novel is just Ender sitting in front of computer monitors running simulations. Curious as to how they will not make that monotonous in a movie version.
As of now it's slated to be released November of 2013.

from what i understand the script is actually based off of Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow....i guess even Orson Scott Card felt that that was the only way to make a watchable film...adding that element of Bean's story
