I think it's one of their best work. You can have an OBE just listening to it.

I would have on that player. Though I love prog, and AOR (and metal) I could find only the one song (the one from Ten) that fit that description.
Even so, it was hard, and I know that there are many, many songs that didn't make the cut that could/should have, but that was in the end what I narrowed it down to.
Nice to see one of Agnetha's songs on your list: are her other albums good? I have only heard "I stand alone"...

Thanks. It's hard to sum up everything you like about music into just 10 songs. I wracked my brains on this trying to come up with the best list possible, but after narrowing the criteria to favotite bands and genres it became slightly easier. In the end it made sense because it is a small cross section to everything I listen to, and every song I heard I thought it was the greatest thing I ever heard, except for Chaconne that song took a little time to grow on me, but it's an incredible piece, I would think Prog amd Metal fans would like for the techinical ablility it takes to play it.
The only two
must have on the list are
Back Street Girl and
The Fountain Of Salmacis. I think the music is just amazing.
I have Agnetha's box set of her Swedish studio albums, it is mostly her singing Schlager with a couple of an exceptions like SOS. She's back by Sven-Olof Walldoff orchestra, which is like a regular string orchestra with bass guitar and drums, not too different from the pit orchestra used for an Andrew Lloyd Weber musical, but the music is more like 60/70-ish Pop. You know she was Mary Magdeline in the Swedish verion of Jesus Chirst Superstar? I don't know if they have that released but her songs are on youtube - it's some of her finest work. If you like Agnetha and Lobo you might like Françoise Hardy
