The Gaslight Anthem -
Handwritten (2012)
I'm a sucker for this band and I don't really know why. They're nothing groundbreaking, but they've put out consistently good albums that somehow manage to be nostalgic while also feeling new. I'm definitely not feeling this one as much as
Sink or Swim or
The '59 Sound, but there's definitely enough good on here to warrant a purchase. Basically if you're looking for an album to remind you of better days while delivering it in a way that doesn't feel artificial, you might want to give this one a try. If you're completely unfamiliar with the band then you definitely want to start with
Sink or Swim and
The '59 Sound.
