I was just doing a search on The Frogs and discovered that Dennis Flemion died a couple of weeks ago. He co-founded the band with his brother Jimmy in 1980. According to news reports, he was boating on July 7 with friends & family and decided to go for a swim, went under and didn't resurface.
I'll never forget the first time I heard them at a friends house, back in the 90's.
My friend said "you gotta hear these guys, they're seriously twisted."
He plays the album 'My Daughter the Broad' and at first I was somewhat horrified by the amateurish sound, but as I listened to the lyrics I started to laugh and couldn't stop.
Very warped, yet hysterically funny!
