Released in 2001, this album was trend setting for the decade, it could be representitive of the huge influence "metalcore" had from 2000-2005, and also the branches the genre took into all other forms of metal from 2005-2010. From progressive metal, to sludge, and to the blends in between during the rise of popularity during the decade of 2000-2010, all seems to have progressed from Converge's "Jane Doe".
