To tell you the truth, I have no clue what post-bop is. I just mentioned it because it's commonly associated with Mingus and hoped someone might recognize it and recommend something. 
However, I've always associated hard-bop with the type of jazz commonly found in the mid-50s/early 60s, which usually had a more rhythmic take on what Parker and his contemporaries were doing with jazz.
Here's something to think about: What exactly is jazz anyways?
By the way, thank you for the recommendations. I'm definitely looking into those albums.
