It continues in the eastern direction that God is Good layed down, and aside from the "single"
State of Non-Return, there isn't much metal about this album. You've got foreign tongues and wailing females and OH LAWD the violins just titillate when combined with the tradition OM bass riffing.
The new drummer, Amos, throws in more fills and is a bit more crunchy than his predecessor. I know some traditional OMists will dislike it because it does contrast pretty starkly with Hakius' minimalism, but I think it makes their formula more interesting.
