Here's my advice:
I believe you said you're mic'ed. If so, there's only so much tone you can get through Line 6 products, so I'd say try to go line in direct with maybe some VST Plug-Ins, or get a good multi-effects pedal and go Guitar - Pedal - PC. I've done this a few times using 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to go direct to a PC's mic input. There are latency issues, but if you know how to trim those off in a DAW, it's not a terrible way to go. The reason for all this is that the Line 6 is robbing you of tone. The PC will only put out what you put in. The other issue, which I'm totally in the dark about here, is what mic was used, although a better mic won't save you from the toneless pit of that Line 6.
I'm no expert and there are countless others here that could probably give you better/alternate solutions and advice on how to record guitar better.
Also it helps to practice.
