Peabody passed away this morning. We brought her to the vet and when we started to drive there she started freaking out hardcore and peed on herself. I knew it wasn't going to end well. We got to the vet and as soon as the doctor put his hands on her she started heaving and having a fit. She died a few minutes later. Apparently her heart was failing and the trip to the vet just was too much. Vet said she would have died in a day anyway so at least she only had to suffer for a bit. I'm sad.

If you're a Calvin and Hobbes fan, this whole thing just mirrored when Calvin and Hobbes find the hurt baby raccoon. That one is going to mean a lot more now.
