They clearly were in the same situation...
I don't think I've ever been that bad, but when I was fourteen I remember looking in my dad's drinks cabinet and finding some Old Bell's Scotch which actually was 70% alcohol and very old, probably illegal by now.
It was about a third full and I finished it off, and I've never felt so good!
