If you want to get MAXIMUM enjoyment/embarrassment out of your collection, you need to select ALL of your HARD DISK, like me (fool that I am!) and use a prog like "Shuffle music player" to randomise. As i am doing here. So, my (shudder!) list first, then I'll comment on what has gone before me.

Hey! Not as embarrassing as it could have been! All pretty mainstream yes (I don't tend to go for bands I don't know, all these weird indie bands like Lamposts at Dawn or Micky the Fish, or whatever) but nothing there that I'm cringing at --- and there could have been some doozies!
However, feel free to mock me, next person up!
Speaking of which...
I know few of those artistes, but come on! Anyone with Spinal Tap on their player deserves credit! I also like Joe Walsh (duh! Don Henley? The Eagles? Would never have guessed!) and the odd Duran Duran. I know OF the White Stripes, but other than that, sort of clueless about the rest really.
