From a very early age, my sister and I knew how to properly handle and clean records and how to set the needle down without scratching. A good record was almost reverenced in our house and my parents' old record collection is still nearly pristine.

Did anyone else have those globe lamps on top of the speakers that pulsated and changed colors to the music?
