Instead of giving a prize to whoever gets most eggs, every egg caught rewards a better chance of getting the prize. If you have guys with this egg score :

• tore - 70 eggs
• Duce - 45 eggs
• Jans - 33 eggs

Then you have a total of 70 + 45 + 33 = 148 eggs. Then you pick a random number between 1 and 148 (using f.ex random.org). The owner of the number picked wins the competition.

You can tell who the owner is like this :

• tore has numbers 1 to 70
• Duce has numbers 71 to 115
• Jans has numbers 116 to 148

(with the one who has the most eggs getting the earliest numbers - sort alphabetically when two or more persons are tied for the same amount of eggs)

The point of doing it this way is that finding an egg will always give you an advantage in the competition, regardless if someone else has found every other egg but the one you found. That way, it's always worth finding an egg, even if you're late in the game
