I always give an album one or two spins before I make an opinion about it. Though, with Anathema, my expectations are usually pretty high because their other albums have really gotten me into that whole Porcupine Tree'ish sound. Porcupine Tree did that for me as well, though their albums have been a bit more consistent in terms of sounding good.
