I actually find it relatively easy to track down jazz and third-stream (a genre I don't actively listen to, I'll admit) albums. I recently downloaded a few of Ornette Coleman's and Andrew Hill's more obscure releases with very little effort and managed to do just fine. However, I understand about the whole classical thing... I find that while it's relatively easy to track down certain pieces or anthologies, it's incredibly difficult to find the specific versions (i.e. the musicians who play it, etc) of those pieces...
