A little disappointing compared to the first in the trilogy (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) as there is a change in director and the film is not as oppressive as it's first instalment.
The final instalment was definitely an improvement on the second part but still had some elements I felt were a little underwhelming. However there is a palpable sense of tension throughout the film and the character and portrayal of the main character was superb throughout and all in all it's a trilogy well worth your time if you love heavy, intricate drama.

I was left a little underwhelmed by this although the final third was damn good. The acting is understated but perfect for the movie and the fact that it is based upon a true story adds gravitas to this tale of covert operations and political intrigue and the Stath opposite De Niro? Well it works I have to say.
