I wasn't there but supposedly and understandably many didn't. The movie mentioned, We Jam Econo, is available in full on youtube. They got heckled a LOT. At one point I think Watt says something to the extent of the band seeing punk rock as a way for weirdos to experiment and do their own thing with music instead of being rock stars.

Yeah I had heard that from someone else before too-that they would be heckled. Ill for sure check this documentary out as well; there is actually relatively little media of the minutemen on the internet.
