I don't think this is true at all, they only recently signed to Epitaph Records (having previously been on the smaller Red Scare Industries) for "On The Impossible Past" on the strength of their first two full-lengths. The latest is more mellow than the first two, but they definitely haven't castrated their sound in search of a major label deal. They're still tastefully rough around the edges (as shown by "Good Things") in that independent everyman punk rock way, so I think it's a safe bet that they won't be leaving Epitaph for quite some time.

I was kind of joking, but, i do think they will get signed. i think they are experimenting, as all good bands do. Their sound has been evolving/changing from the start, so, i still haven't given it a second go around. Many albums grow on you. Not the same genre, but, REM went through many changes, and, each effort they put forth was different, and, many of the lp's had to grow on me, so, i will listen to it again today
But, i just found out that Chuck Ragan had a new one, and, it is a really good record. i've been listening to it, but, i'll let you know how the record sounds the second time

But, who gives a sh*t?
