If there's one thing I could say to two of the greatest songwriters ever it would be: "not enough distortion".
AIC and soundgarden werent entirely metal in my opinion. Especially AIC. Maybe "facelift" was a metal album, but they evolved a lot and were very versatile. I thinly their music can't be limited to metal only.
