They've come a long way since Bob & the Sagets. So far, i don't think it's better than Chamberlain Waits.

Not as good, IMO. it appears they are trying to get laid by a major label. Just a thought. Definitely, a bit different sounding. Maybe it's one that grows on you. One time through is not really a fair judgment.
