I can get behind Dylan being a better musician/poet/songwriter, but I get a much deeper sense of emotional honesty from Young's songwriting than I do from Dylan's. Dylan rarely hits me too deeply. That's not to say that he doesn't at all, but with young there seems to be much more that I can relate to experience wise and his poignant style seems to affect me on a much deeper level than Dylan does.
