Not everyone can enjoy a movie like Hobo With A Shotgun. I mean, when I saw the trailer, I instantly got the impression it paid homage to the excessively violent and often silly exploitation movies in the vein of guys like Lloyd Kaufman .. which are definetly not for the average viewer.
I think it was good by the way!

If it failed as a homage, it only failed by being too good
Too high production value, too good acting etc.
