But I'm a huge delta blues fan.Robert Johnson, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Willie Brown, Blind Willie McTell, Son House: all my heroes. I tend to use that style as the basis for most of my composing. As in, every song I write begins on an acoustic and could have been written at by one of these people. Then, when I transfer it over to my electric, I add a few simple effects and spice up the rhythm a bit. Comes out as something new and I write lyrics to whatever it is.
Other than the blues, I like a lot of indie, proto-punk, some pop punk, alt rock, classic rock, grunge. Lol the list is pretty vast.
