I don't know, there was an obvious contrast between Rick and Shane at the start of the show but as it developed I now fail to see the light between the two, they both annoy the hell out of me and have me rooting for the zombies
a bit like having another Jack instead of John Locke.
I see Dale as the their polar opposite and would rather see him have more of a say into what goes on.
