To be honest, I know of them but I have not knowingly ever heard anything by them...

So I tried to give my opinions on that list you posted, FaSho, but I realised having started at the bottom and then realised I should be going from the top and then subsequently realised that I had heard maybe five of the songs listed in the entire thing more than once and one of the albums that I really didn't have enough information to be commenting on anything whatsoever. If anyone wants to read my pointless ramblings before I got bored and stopped, they're in the spoiler :P

I've heard good things about Adele, but haven't knowingly heard any yet, I think skrillex is a dick with no talent (but I'm not a huge fan of anything with a Drop, it must be said), Katy Perry has released some decent Pop for modern standards but Firework just bored me, as I said I've never heard Bon Iver. Album of the year: I really enjoyed Wasting Light. I think it's a solid record with some great songs, and I'd happily vote for it on any nomination it's given. That may well be because it's one of the only "new" albums I've heard this year :P New Artist: ... Who are these people again? (should listen to the radio more) Rap: I can't remember ever having listened to a "popular" rap album. Is it worth it? I can't say this is a genre I follow particularly. That said, I seem to have lost most connection to "new music", so hey, this isn't particularly a shock to me :P Folk: I have heard of half the folk nominees, but haven't heard any of the nominations, and I'm presuming that by "Folk" they mean American, and are totally ignoring anything else. __________________ "I found it eventually, at the bottom of a locker in a disused laboratory, with a sign on the door saying "Beware of the Leopard".
