Thanks a lot to those who have nominated me! I'm a little surprised. Compared to last year, I feel like my presence here has been like a shadow of my former self, contributing less to the site and involving myself in fewer discussions.
Anyways, I have time for some if not all of these :
Most Inane: S_k .. Tries so hard to be likable, but can't help being slightly condescending and pig-headed. His amazing relationships with girls, his home address, google earth picture of his house etc. is just way more information than I need and I think he should take a moment or two and learn the
ABCs of internet security.
My runner up would be Il Duce. I like the Duce a lot, but his posts (which are everywhere) always feel like a (too) short summary of whatever he thinks or feels. Despite this, he sometimes makes posts in the TMI category. I wish he'd make fewer posts, but fill them with more content.
Most Enigmatic: Burning Down .. Who are you? That's not a rhetoric question either, I'd actually like to know.
Angriest Member: I'll nominate GuitarBizarre for the way he likes to reign down his fury on the wrong and the stupid. He's part trolly (troller of trolls), but generally uses his powers for good.
Biggest Drama Whore: I like Paloma, but she does seem to be involved in every bit of drama that happens around here. Even when she's not directly involved, she seems to wiggle her way into it.
Nicest Member: Erica got my nomination last year, so this year it's Lisnaholic. Possibly the nicest guy I've met here!
Best Debater: Vegangelica. I do read her posts even though I don't always comment and although a lot find them boring, she does a good job at picking out relevant claims and backing them up with sources. I wish she would partake more often in non-dietary discussions though
Worst Debater: S_k. He can't really debate, only insist.
Best Writer: RMR. I really haven't read much this year at all, so there may be someone more deserving, but at least RMR's been reviewing a lot of classics that I like and seems to be quite productive these days.
Biggest Virtuoso: Guitarbizarre I guess!
